Blessings Friday: Delicious Things

Up in 3D

We went to see Up Wednesday night. I’ve never been to a 3D movie before and the glasses gave me the giggles.

Mr. Man wouldn’t let me drive home whilst wearing my cool new 3D glasses. Instead, I grilled him as to how many helium balloons he thought it would take for me to go on an airborne adventure:

Too many,” he said.

Hmmmm … “Is that a comment on my voluptuosity?“

Oh no, June Honey, I just meant it’s a physics/chemistry issue.” Then he creates an exhaustive list of assumptions and works up some kind of convoluted Man Math Formula to arrive at his hypothesis: approximately 3,200 helium balloons would be needed per 100 pounds of weight.

Uh huh.” I just keep driving, thinking about my 3D glasses as I lost interest in my proposed airborne adventure the very second math ensued.

Anyway, my assessment of the movie: hie yourself to the nearest theatre and see it.

For summery toes, just add flowers. And then add water.

I want to live on a tropical island and eat mangoes all day, maybe even do the Mango Dance. No, I’ve no idea what this dance might be, delicious I imagine. Shall we just make it up as we go along?

If I asked my husband how many balloons it would take to lift us, he'd surely tell me. I try to just avoid those questions, haha.
I LOVED Up! Man, I cried a lot in that film, so unexpected.

I can't do 3-D movies, at least not in 3-D. I have to watch them plain.

You guys are too funny! Can't wait to see your cupcakes. Hubby asked me this week to make one for a car dealer 'cause in hubby's words "The poor guy things walmart cupcakes are the best he's ever had." I thought that was too cute. Enjoy your cupcakes!

OH MY! I'm so jealous of your cute toes! I'm going to try that this weekend. I sense a lot of nail-polish remover in my future. =)

I've seen the previews for that movie and it looks hilarious --especially the dog's lines! I wouldn't want to know how many balloons I'd need --- maybe a whole helium blimp full?

Your toes look so cute!

Virtual cupcakes are good -- no calories! :-)
