I’ve Got It Covered

My golf club covers were falling apart from traveling so much with them. Since I’m traveling again on November 16, I made new covers over the weekend. The lining fabric is a pale green the same shade as one of the dots in the main fabric.

I found pearlescent-looking D-rings which look nicer with my fabric than the metal version.

My new polka dot covers look happy to me. Pre-made embroidered letters and numbers identify the various clubs although I guess I could have embroidered them myself. Next time I’ll do that.

The pattern is from Fiber Image Crafts.

  7. Oh my gosh, I just love these. (Though my husband, who's the golfer probly wouldn't go for the cool pattern...) Is there no end to your creativity? &:o)

  8. The golf covers are so adorable on the clubs... all together in the bag. What a clever idea!! Your ideas are endless and wonderful.
I am from a golfing family... matter-of-fact my Arizona daughter is getting married on the 18th green in June... to her Golf Pro fiancee... only not in AZ but at home at the CC she grew up in.

Thanks again for sharing your creative ideas. I look forward to your blog each day!

  9. My goodness June, those are just ADORABLE!!! When does your creativity stop? Hopefully never. I so envy that you golf. I've always enjoyed the driving range. I also used to love walking with my dad around golf courses as he golfed when I was a small girl. I felt so close to nature. Maybe someday... It will be a goal for retirement!
