My golf club covers were falling apart from traveling so much with them. Since I’m traveling again on November 16, I made new covers over the weekend. The lining fabric is a pale green the same shade as one of the dots in the main fabric.
I found pearlescent-looking D-rings which look nicer with my fabric than the metal version.
My new polka dot covers look happy to me. Pre-made embroidered letters and numbers identify the various clubs although I guess I could have embroidered them myself. Next time I’ll do that.
wow!!! these are fab!!!

WOW, again!! They are just super, June. I don't play golf but if I did I would have to commission a set of these from you. You will be the most stylish golfer out there :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I don't golf either but these would make a great gift idea for a friend.
ReplyDeleteThose are SO cute!!! Almost wish I played golf!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by my blog and leaving such nice notes. Looking forward to seeing your papercuts done up.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. You'll be stylin' on the course. But of course. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I just love these. (Though my husband, who's the golfer probly wouldn't go for the cool pattern...) Is there no end to your creativity? &:o)
ReplyDeleteThe golf covers are so adorable on the clubs... all together in the bag. What a clever idea!! Your ideas are endless and wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI am from a golfing family... matter-of-fact my Arizona daughter is getting married on the 18th green in June... to her Golf Pro fiancee... only not in AZ but at home at the CC she grew up in.
Thanks again for sharing your creative ideas. I look forward to your blog each day!

My goodness June, those are just ADORABLE!!! When does your creativity stop? Hopefully never. I so envy that you golf. I've always enjoyed the driving range. I also used to love walking with my dad around golf courses as he golfed when I was a small girl. I felt so close to nature. Maybe someday... It will be a goal for retirement!
ReplyDeleteOMG June, you are such a crafty woman. I'm sure if I sat still at your house I would get cover, transformed, jazzed up by you.
ReplyDeleteI'll be there soon......
These are fantastic. Great idea.
How cool Junie! And a big improvement LOL.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, these are so cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the dots!

ReplyDeleteI'll venture a bet with you that every woman on the course will ask you where you got those! A new biz is born!
ReplyDeleteJune, I don't golf, but I really think custom club covers are genious! Those look great!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great Idea. My dad is an avid golfer and one of the hardest people to by for. This would make a great gift. I'd just have to make them a lot less girly! :)
ReplyDeleteJune, these are so coool!
ReplyDeleteAnother fun choice of fabrics too!
