Reversible Bag for Charity

I’ve been thinking about my post last Friday declining the award I was given. While I sincerely appreciate your inclusion of me, my new blogging rule is that I won’t accept awards associated with tagging as it makes me too uncomfortable.

Kelli has a big charity fundraiser coming up. My contribution is a reversible bag.

I used the Flea Market Bag pattern I purchased from Grand Revival Design. The two fabrics were purchased at Jo-Ann’s.

Since the bag is reversible, I made a covered button for each side.

I hope the bag helps bring in a little money for the charity.

  11. What a cherry bag....lovely! Will certainly get lots of compliments whomever shoulder it rides on!
I have to heartily agree with the "tag" games.....very annoying, and we all love compliments, but I don't think that is a good way to compliment a friend....more like a burden....I was tagged again and was contemplating all weekend about responding and just can't find the "time" to do it. sorry~ So thanks for the thoughts on that one, Junie. Happy spring thoughts!

  20. What is this charity? I've made an apron and haven't quite figured out what to do with it yet. I'd love to have it raise money for a charity.

  21. I love bags -- well bags and clutches both. So no wonder I gravitated to both these posts about the coupon holder you made (excellent!) and this great reversible one. Reversible! now there's versatility. You're amazing how you just 'whip' these things up. You always inspire me so much. Lovely items all.

I wrestle with tagging too. It's the whole leaving someone out thing.
