I’ve been thinking about my post last Friday declining the award I was given. While I sincerely appreciate your inclusion of me, my new blogging rule is that I won’t accept awards associated with tagging as it makes me too uncomfortable.
Kelli has a big charity fundraiser coming up. My contribution is a reversible bag.
I used the Flea Market Bag pattern I purchased from Grand Revival Design. The two fabrics were purchased at Jo-Ann’s.
Since the bag is reversible, I made a covered button for each side.
I hope the bag helps bring in a little money for the charity.
What a lovely bag. I truly like the fabric you used. I am especially fond of pink and green together! This bag reminds me that Spring is coming.
ReplyDeleteI have to have this! I am going to bid, bid, bid. Thank you so much June!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great bag. I've been wondering about that pattern - is it easy? You did a wonderful job.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute, cute, CUTE bag! So nicely wrought too! :)
ReplyDeleteThe fabric is lovely as is the bag. You are so kind, sweet, and giving. You are a blessing in my life... and in the lives of many others.

That bag is adorable June. Hey, for those of us who want to join you, can we borrow your little (too cute, I might add)sidebar tag?
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous June. It should be a big hit :-) Rosie
ReplyDeleteHi Junie, I love the bag. I hope it will raise a lot a money! You are someone special!
ReplyDeleteYour non tag-awards logo is cute!
I like reversible things. That bag looks like a hit!
ReplyDeletethank heavens, finally a button for no tagging! I approve! I am gonna put one upon mine! I like this pattern- I bet it will be a hit!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cherry bag....lovely! Will certainly get lots of compliments whomever shoulder it rides on!
ReplyDeleteI have to heartily agree with the "tag" games.....very annoying, and we all love compliments, but I don't think that is a good way to compliment a friend....more like a burden....I was tagged again and was contemplating all weekend about responding and just can't find the "time" to do it. sorry~ So thanks for the thoughts on that one, Junie. Happy spring thoughts!
Very cool you did a great job and I'm sure it will bring in some money for charity. Vpage thepages@charter.net

Love the bag!
ReplyDeleteYou have alovely blog. So many wonderful creations.
What is this charity? I've made an apron and haven't quite figured out what to do with it yet. I'd love to have it raise money for a charity.
ReplyDeleteI really love this bag you made!
I love bags -- well bags and clutches both. So no wonder I gravitated to both these posts about the coupon holder you made (excellent!) and this great reversible one. Reversible! now there's versatility. You're amazing how you just 'whip' these things up. You always inspire me so much. Lovely items all.

What a darling bag and I love your fabric choices!
ReplyDeleteI wrestle with tagging too. It's the whole leaving someone out thing.
NIce bag....I was wondering how you finished the seams on the opposite side? I am making reversible bags...and haven't found a solid solution to that yet....? Thanks!
