I decided to try her mouse mat project as mine needed replacing. Everything I used came straight from my stash, even the Mod Podge—I love not having to make a run to the store. This was a quick and easy project.
After making the mat, I started exploring her blog. She has some great tutorials—24 that I found listed. Then I did a quick search for blogs with other ideas on using fat quarters:

Ooh - thanks for the link, June. I bought a purse pattern created locally using 3 fat quarters and I loved making it! I've made two purses so far and have had requests to make one for my Grandma and my mom. Thanks for sharing the links!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Thanks June. Yours looks better than mine! I'm so glad you've found the tutorials useful.
ReplyDeleteThanks June! I'll put her on my list :-)
ReplyDeleteHi June
ReplyDeleteOne of Marmadaisy's Fat Quarter Tutorials was actually written by me and she has given me credit for it as a "guest" tutorial. It's the Toe Separators here:

ReplyDeleteGreat ideas!! You can use a jigsaw, but a rotozip will do the job fabulously!

What a great idea -- a mouse pad from a favorite fabric! Yours looks great. Thanks for showing it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that blog link, I love to find great new tutorials. That mouse pad is a great idea and yours turned out really cute!
ReplyDeleteps. You wondered about Hurley running through the electric fence - the little stinker is fine. The jolt from the fence just hurts for a second, and there's a little clip that attaches the wire to the fence post which will give if an animal runs through it, so they don't get cut or anything by the wire. So he's none the worse for wear, except his keepers (the boys) were very irritated with him. : )
pps. from Karen @ Weathertop FArm.
Thanks for showing this ~ Had it on my list to buy a new mousepad ~ can use what I have and make one :)
