One corner is flipped over so you can see the flannel lining/backing. Some non-slip rubber shelf-liner material underneath the mat keeps the whole thing from sliding around.
I just measured out a rectangular piece and got busy sewing. A quick Google search last night yielded a couple of free projects.

I don't have anything under my machine... never thought about it.

Have you got ESP with me?
ReplyDeleteI have just got the measurements from a friend on the weekend and I'm going to whip one up with pockets. Hope to have that completed on the weekend??? Quilted too???
Thank you for sharing those patterns. I would love to make a sewing machine mat.
ReplyDeleteIt's so fun to see what projects you come with to make. Sewing usually takes a back seat for me until it gets too hot o work outside. I am keeping a running list of everything you do ..... one of these days I might catch up! HA!
