Dear Friends:

At 7 a.m. on Nov. 1 I began my effort to write my first novel. At approximately 5:30 this morning, I finished. In doing so, I earned the following official designation:

I am overwhelmed with joy for having met the National Novel Writing Month challenge and conquering a major goal I’ve had my entire life.

  7. How on earth did you ever write a novel in a few weeks?? Well... congrats to you and your completed work! Will you attempt to publish it? I wrote a novel about 5 years ago and it took me over a year. Then I started writing quiry letters trying to get an agent. I really enjoyed the process but gave up on finding an agent! Good luck to you Junie Moon!!

  14. congratulations for completing the word count June and at suçh an early part of November!! You must have been writing day and night!!

Is is something that gives you a good first draft? Just wondering if you'll work on it now with a view to maybe polishing it for future consideration? Some writers have actually turned their drafts into a published novel so it's possible you know.

I can hardly get over that you finished the word count at this point in time -- no kidding. Most struggle all month long to reach that word count! Bravo June!
