Reusing Old Calendars

Did you know that you can reuse calendars from previous years? Sometimes the stars align just right and a calendar year will work out perfectly for using again although the holidays won’t always match exactly.

In keeping with the theme, I used the front of a Lone Ranger book to make a list of calendar years that work for 2009 (dates from Time and
Date.com).

  1. I recycle calendars as art. I took apart one of Spanish tourism and bullfight posters and put it into one of those picture-frame screens. I love it, and no one else has one like mine.

  3. Cool! While I may have committed a grievous error by throwing away that lanyard, I have saved many a calendar. I'll have to see if I have any of those listed years. Thanks for the info!

  4. I never thought of re-using them in that way. I believe it's every 7 or is it every 10 years the "stars align" :)

I have used them for craft projects ages ago but, because of the heavy paperstock, they are great for cutting up and using as bookmarks and for gift tags.

I love that old Lone Ranger image!
