The fabrics for this bag are of Australian design. The exterior fabric was designed by Audrey Napanangka for M&S Textiles. The lining is called Wanakiji by Netta Williams for the same textile company. I made the covered button using a bit of the lining fabric.
The clutch project from Amy's book has been a lifesaver this year in terms of easy, inexpensive, but cute gifts I can make.
Works in Progress
Although I have family visiting here from N.C. and Hawaii, I do get a bit of quiet time here and there to work on my Christmas projects. Here is a short list of what I’m working on this week:
- Two more Bend the Rules clutches
- Deck the Halls Ornament Swap project
- Three puppet theatres
- Operation Christmas Child

Your clutch looks great! I really should try to make one of those. And I'm SO excited that you're making a puppet theater! They really are the cutest things, and I hope you post a photo of them!
Those club covers are the cutest! The clutches are nice too.
Ooooo... my eyes bugged out at the mention of Puppet Theaters. That sounds so interesting. I collected puppets for years... even belonged to our state's Puppetry Guild. I'd loooove to see a photo of one of your theaters. Do you have grandchildren?
Hugs,
Joni

I would say you are one busy lady! My 'to do' list never seems to go down. Maybe it's cause I'm always adding to it. I love the clutch and it's beautiful pattern. Isn't that just the greatest book?
Wow. Junie! Where did you find those lovely fabrics? Gorgeous!
STOP STOP STOP!!! You are just too organised for us.
What a beautiful clutch and Aussie fabric. I must have a go at these, they sound easy and fun.
Love your covered button too.
Oooh, the puppet theaters sound intriguing! :)
Easy, inexpensive, and cute--sounds perfect!! The bag is really cute, but then all the things you make are :-)
Smiles, Karen
