The USS Junie Moon

My siblings and I spent an enormous amount of time playing games when we were wee folks.

One game that didn’t require a fancy electronic board like today was one we simply drew using graph paper—Battleship
.

Playing around on the internet yielded this simple game in a printable format at Naturally Simple. Click on the link under the picture to print copies for your kids (or yourself).

Tonight, the USS Junie Moon is going to see what it can do to conquer enemy ships (aka my husband).

We still have the game on our shelves. Haven't played it in awhile tho. We like cards best.

Dear June

I am so glad to see you back in blogland. I just could not bear to take down the link in my blog.

(which has been sorely neglected but its on my list of resolution items to carry through on posting)

We played battleship over Christmas and loved it. Also some board games like cadoo.

I remember doing this too June! My younger brother had the plastic battleship game with the little pegs and ships -- my son had one also. I guess soem games never go out of style.
