Spring Cleaning

Today is Day 2 of my three-day Spring Cleaning project. Normally I do it much earlier in the month but life had a different plan this year. Yesterday, Day 1, was for tidying, laundry, returning library books, and general preparations for today’s heavy-duty cleaning.

Window cleaning has been underway since 7:30 a.m., inside and out. I’m taking a small break and then scrubbing the entire house comes next. The carpets are the last thing I do and that’s for Day 3 of my annual cleaning for springtime which also includes pressure-cleaning the driveway and walkways. Everything is repeated in the fall, so this is a twice-a-year event.

You can get a copy of all the natural cleaning recipes I use here and read about them on my post here.

When done, my reward will be a happy clean house as well as free time for reading your blogs and pursuing some of my crafty projects.

June, what a darling photo of you! YOu should have that one framed -- I love it. And, I also adore that darling bucket too. Now there's a trip down memory lane for sure. I couldn't help but notice the logo/header of your blog sewn on your towel!! How on earth did you do that my dear?

I remember a photo like this last Spring cleaning time June --you are as cute as ever!

I have not begun Spring cleaning in earnest as yet. It's still too cold to throw open the windows. Hopefully in a few more weeks.

All I have been able to do is some front and back yard work clearing Winter debris and removing my herb and shrub and flower pots (lots of them!) from the garage, so things can begin growing again.

I hope you were able to accomplish all your needed to and now you can relax!

Hugs, Pat

You're a champ, Junie! That is some serious dedication. Of course, you are adorable all ready to spring clean that place into shape. I doubt anyone is quite as perfectly bedecked for this particular job.
