Pool Party Invitations

Here is the pool party invitation we sent out this year.

© June Scroggin, All Rights Reserved

My husband used a watercolor of flip-flops on the beach I did some time ago for the invitation. He put a photo of my artwork in PowerPoint and added the text. I’ve deleted the map that was on the bottom left and the contact numbers—not to be mean to you, but you never know what not-nice person might be lurking about on the Internet. My husband always manages the RSVP tracking which leaves me free for other stuff.

Tonight I decorate the cakes—I’m so looking forward to that. Tomorrow is party day. Once the doorbell rings, we’re done and can just enjoy the party. I’d say this is the end of my pool party posts, but you’ve not seen the cake or the fruit kebobs yet—I’ll share those on Monday.

Have a great weekend. I hope yours is full of much laughter and friendship as ours will be.

Have fun at your pool party!

I love your artwork. Absolutely beautiful. Works perfect for the invitation. I'd also love it for scrapbooking. Have you thought about selling it for scrapbook papers or greeting cards? I truly think it is great quality and would sell easily. You are very talented!

Thanks for sharing.

It's been fun to read about your party preparations. You are the most organized person I've ever 'seen'! Looking forward to the cake and kabob photos.
Enjoy the party!

Your party prep has been really fun to follow, June. I love to watch hostesses who are really good at what they do, and truly enjoy it. Have a great time!

Also, I will be snagging this sand pail idea for our summer bbqs. Thanks.

jUne, you are so talented -- what a beautiful painting. I'm sure the day went off with a blast (of fun & merriment). I'm about to make a large bowl of fresh greek salad and head to the city to join friends' for some backyard merriment. Cheers!
