My Christmas cards are done and going out in the mail. I kept my list short this year and am only sending cards to immediate family. Postage is outrageous.

I used blue cards edged with a scallop design, stamped them with a dark red snowflake, and added glitter highlights on the center star and each of the candlelight points. I cut dark red cardstock and wrote a personalized note. I punched two holes in the top and added a piece of ribbon. Done deal.
The weather is overcast today, but I’m going to try to get some photos done of the glass balls made for this year’s annual BYOB (Blow Your Own Ball) party my sister Connie and I hosted. If the photos work out today, I’ll share them tomorrow.

That card looks lovely.
I love these, they are beautiful but simple. Linda
It's a beautiful card Junie Moon! I can't wait to see your BYOB this year!
These are very pretty June. I'm only sending a few cards this year too. The last couple of years, I've found I'm happiest if I keep things "less". These last few years have been stressful, and I can't keep up. I've finally had to let go, and it feels a relief...most of the time. Now and then, I feel a little bit guilty, like I should be doing more.
Amen to that, Junie! I accidentally ordered square photo cards this year only to find that they require extra postage because they're square.
Why does the post office hate squares?
Anyway, beautiful cards! So well done, as always.
I didn't send any cards this year either. It's just too expensive.
Love yours though!
