I so enjoyed making the Japanese Knot Bag for my last give-away that I just had to make one for myself.
It’s a fun little reversible bag to carry on a summer night out.
I used two different fabrics from Judie Rothermel’s “Aunt Grace Ties One On” collection for Marcus Brothers Textiles, Inc. This first is #163.
The reverse side is #164.

Lovely as always, and absolutely perfect for a summers night! Next summer when my to do list is manageable and I'm not lug gig ALL the kiddo stuff in my purse I think Id love one too.
I really like the reverse fabric~ may have to get some for myself :-)
That bag is adorable. I love the fabrics you used.
Hugs!!!
Cute, Cute, Cute! I love Judie Rothermel!
So very cute. You did a great job picking your materials! :-) Rosie
I really love mine too!!! Thank you again! I need to get to the fabric store. It's been a while and there are so many beautiful choices out there.
I love the fabric you used for this! Looks like a really nice bag to use this time of the year as it's so lighweight and bright and colorful!
I think this is ultimately very versatile and practical. I remember my mom making something similar decades ago -- she did all her sewing by hand because she couldn't afford a machine. She had a very crafty and practical nature. This reminds me so much of that.

Such an adorable bag. I love how it gently clings to the wrist and looks so effortless to carry.
